it will be my best friend's gf''s birthday and i'm going to be around my ex gf and some of our college friends for the first time since she broke up with me 2 months ago after we dated for 4 years. i'm curious to hear how these reunions have typically gone and what should i expect. also do's and don'ts would be appreciated as well. act as if she were just another one of your friends gfs friends. don't treat her any differently. and try to keep positive and act like you're happy with your life. this way she won't feel like superior to you. and you won't feel like you're 2 feet tall.

Well first of all you shouldn't try to avoid her, it would just make the whole reunion suck since you're playing hide and seek the whole time. Just go in with a mature mind. I don't know why you guys broke up but still say hello to her if you see her. If not then you have nothing to worry about. Just enjoy the reunion.
Just be polite, distantly polite. Enjoy yourself and don't worry about her.
