Whats the best why to deal with your ex-boyfriends especially if you have a child together?

My ex and I were together for 2 and a half years. We have a 14 month old together. Im just starting to get over him. We broke up last may. Im trying to deal with him the best way i can. I dont bother him only when our daughter truly needs something or anything else that has to do with him.He got upset that I filed child support, but i told him the only way i would take him off is if i found a good job, finished school, or both. But he finally got over that. In a way I still have feelings for him but its not like it was when we first broke up. I still love him to a degree but how do i continue to keep our relationship as calm and friendly.Whats the best why to deal with your ex-boyfriends especially if you have a child together?
girl you better get all the stuff you can from him.. don't play nice let him know that when it comes to the care and health of your daughter then she's number one..
